🔹 Product Description

This Byzantine triptych depicts the Theotokos (Virgin Mary), framed by Archangel Michael on the left panel and Archangel Gabriel on the right panel. It is a fully handmade triptych made from solid fir wood, with rich details and high-quality craftsmanship.

The structure of the triptych includes two side opening panels with an elegant curved top, secured with brass hinges. The central panel is crowned with a curved pediment and framed by two carved crosses incorporated into a raised wooden surface. When closed, two larger carved crosses decorate the exterior of the panels, enhancing the sacred character and aesthetic harmony of the piece.

The icons are lithographic reproductions mounted on canvas, with aged edges and subtle golden details. The wood has been stained in a dark shade and carefully aged by hand, highlighting the natural grain and unique surface characteristics of the fir wood.

🔹 Artistic Process

All our icons are faithful copies of authentic Byzantine prototypes. They are created using high-quality lithographic printing on paper glued onto canvas, which is then mounted on solid fir wood, not MDF. Each work is enriched with artistic interventions, our characteristic aging technique, and protected with eco-friendly water-based varnish for maximum durability over time.

Each work is unique and may present small variations due to the handmade process.

We use only natural solid wood for authenticity and durability. Never MDF.

Alexandros Stratoulis is an official member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece. All design and processing are carried out in the GENESIS workshop using the artistic aging technique.

However, we accept returns under the following conditions:

• Contact us within 14 days of delivery.

• Return the product at your own expense using the same shipping company.

• Refunds are issued only after we receive and inspect the product to confirm that it is in its original condition.

• In case of damage during transport, you will be informed about the restoration cost.
