This sacred icon is a faithful reproduction of the revered Byzantine icon of the Virgin Mary the Great Protection Protection (Panagia Fovera Prostasia), preserved at the Holy Monastery of Koutloumousiou on Mount Athos. It is one of the most venerated icons in the Orthodox Christian tradition, honored by generations of faithful seeking the protection and intercession of the Mother of God.

🔹 Artistic Process

All of our icons are faithful reproductions of authentic Byzantine prototypes. They are created using high-quality lithographic printing on paper mounted on canvas, which is then carefully applied to solid fir wood (never MDF). Each icon is individually enhanced with artistic hand-finished details, our signature aging technique, and protected with eco-friendly water-based varnish for exceptional durability and longevity.

Because every piece is handcrafted, slight variations may occur, making each icon unique and inviting the faithful to prayer, devotion, and veneration.

According to European legislation, works of art are non-returnable.

However, returns are accepted under the following conditions:

• Contact us within 14 days of delivery.

• Return the item at your own expense using the same shipping carrier.

• Refunds are issued only after the item has been received and inspected to confirm that it remains in its original condition.

• In the event of damage during return shipping, you will be informed of any restoration costs before processing the refund.
