This beautifully handcrafted triptych features high-quality reproductions of Byzantine icons:

Center Panel: The Virgin Mary (Theotokos) tenderly embracing the Christ Child

Left Panel: Saint Spyridon and Saint Demetrios

Right Panel: Jesus Christ and Saint John the Forerunner (John the Baptist)

Each icon is rendered according to the traditional Byzantine iconographic style and mounted on aged solid fir wood with a distinctive architectural design. The panels are cut to resemble the tiled roof of an Orthodox church, giving the piece the appearance of a miniature chapel. Every icon is framed with a hand-carved recessed border.

At the lower center of the triptych is a brass plaque engraved with the Greek inscription:

"ΥΠΕΡΑΓΙΑ ΘΕΟΤΟΚΕ ΣΩΣΟΝ ΗΜΑΣ"
(Most Holy Theotokos, Save Us)

The outer sides of the folding panels are engraved with the Byzantine inscription:

"IC XC NI KA" (Jesus Christ Conquers)

The artwork also features a metal hanging ring at the top, allowing it to be displayed on a wall while combining practicality with sacred aesthetics.

The panels are connected with decorative wrought-iron hinges and secured with solid brass rivets, enhancing both durability and traditional character. Its overall appearance is inspired by the historic devotional shrines and iconostases found in Orthodox monasteries.

🔹 Artistic Process

All of our icons are faithful reproductions of authentic Byzantine prototypes. They are produced using high-quality lithographic printing on paper, mounted onto canvas, which is then applied to solid fir wood (never MDF). Each icon is enhanced with artistic hand-finishing, our signature aging technique, and protected with an eco-friendly water-based varnish for maximum durability.

Because every piece is handcrafted, slight variations may occur, making each icon truly one of a kind.

Every order is carefully packaged with protective bubble wrap to ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition.

We use only natural solid wood for authenticity, beauty, and long-lasting durability. Never MDF.

Alexander Stratoulis is an official member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece. Every design and all artistic processing are carried out in the GENESIS workshop using our signature artistic aging technique.

🔹 Return Policy

In accordance with European legislation, original works of art are non-returnable.

However, we accept returns under the following conditions:

• Contact us within 14 days of delivery.

• Return the item at your own expense using the same shipping carrier.

• Refunds are issued only after we receive and inspect the item to confirm it remains in its original condition.

• If the item has been damaged during return shipping, you will be informed of any restoration costs before the refund is processed.
