🔹 Product Description

This exquisite Orthodox triptych iconostasis is an authentic expression of Orthodox devotion and features high-quality reproductions of The Immaculate Virgin Mary together with Archangel Michael and Archangel Gabriel, rendered in the traditional Byzantine style.

The central icon depicts the Virgin Mary tenderly embracing the Christ Child, emphasizing her role as the Theotokos (Mother of God) and her spiritual purity. Above her shoulders, angels are shown in adoration, while the Archangels standing on either side serve as powerful protectors and heavenly messengers of God.

The iconostasis features an elegant architectural design with domed tops on all three panels, creating a harmonious and prayerful presence. In the upper corners of the side panels, six-winged Seraphim are depicted, emphasizing the heavenly glory surrounding the Mother of God.

The three panels are joined with antique-style metal hinges and rest on a sturdy wooden base.

🔹 Artistic Process

All of our icons are faithful reproductions of authentic Byzantine prototypes. They are created using high-quality lithographic printing on paper mounted onto canvas, which is then carefully adhered to solid fir wood (never MDF). Each icon is enhanced with hand-finished artistic details, our signature aging technique, and protected with an eco-friendly water-based varnish to ensure exceptional durability over time.

Because every piece is handcrafted, slight variations may occur, making each iconostasis truly unique.

• We also incorporate naturally aged wood and handcrafted carvings to further enhance the artistic character and spiritual significance of every creation.

Alexander Stratoulis is an official member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece. Every stage of the design and finishing process is carried out exclusively in the GENESIS workshop using our distinctive artistic aging technique.
